PERPETRATORS OF CHILD ABUSE |  |
| Biological Mothers | are responsible for 45% of all child abuse |
| Biological Fathers | are responsible for 23% of all child abuse |
| Others, majority of which are boyfriend of mother (non-biological to child adult male) | are responsible for 32% of all child abuse |
| These figures reveal that biological mothers commit twice the amount of child abuse as do biological fathers. This perpetration trend is further confirmed in official child homicide figures in Australia which show that Biological mothers are responsible for double the number of child murders compared to fathers. |
