Strength in Numbers Campaign - Why Join?
Posted by Ash Patil on October 13th, 2007 | Category: Fathers’ groups Political Shared Parenting
Join this campaign now in time for the coming federal election. This election will be a milestone event for fathers, not because of what any particular party is willing to offer fathers and children in the interests of family welfare, but what is at stake of being lost.
If you are a single father, a married father, a mother, a grandparent, a family member of a father, or just a young man, then sooner or later you too will be touched by an out-dated and malicious system that portrays and treats men as inherently violent people who are incapable of being responsible parents, simply because they are male.
The overwhelming majority of Australians know better, but this community view is simply not reflected in the laws of the day.
You can't afford to be the silent majority any more. The next father who can't see his kids, the next man falsely accused of violence, or even the next male who commits suicide, may be someone you know.
Join Now! This is a democracy and you have a choice. Join the 'Strength in Numbers' campaign and send the government a strong message this election. Let them know that you have a voice, and you indend to use it!
