OK then, if the Murdoch hacks are too supine to do their duty, here’s the lowdown on High Court Judge Susan Crennan.

Crennan was part of the judicial gathering (well this is a satirical site) who adjudicated on the case of one Liam Magill.

Magill, you remember, discovered after years of paying child support to the ex-wife of this two children, that they weren’t his children at all.  He had been cuckolded.  In days of yore, we’d have described this as the behaviour of a whore but in these enlightened times, it’s merely a woman’s right to choose.

Meredith Magill had been putting herself about, so much so in fact that she dropped two sprats during the marriage, but to her illicit paramour.

Inevitably she compounded the treachery, left poor old Liam and proceeded to milk him of a punitive divorce subsidy, er sorry, child support payments for years on end.  So much so in fact that at various stages of his life, he was left with the risible sum of $130 a week on which to live.

Thousands of dollars later and Liam had his children DNA tested, only to discover the worst.

Not unreasonably, he applied to have the misappropriated money returned.  Not surprisingly, the feminist-dominated bar associations were having none of it and cowardly judges were too scared to buck the applied pressure.

Magill took it to the High Court where Crennan abides.  In a ruling that beggared belief, logic, justice and everything else associated with Honour under the Sun, the High Court panel of senile former lawyers - sorry they call themselves judges now - ruled against him and allowed the treacherous ex-wife to hold onto the money that had paid for another man’s children.

It now turns out that our Susie has a similar tale to her credit and a conflict of interest with this case as big as the nose on her face.  In other words, she should have disqualified herself from sitting in judgment of Magill.   (just for the record, the other stiffs were Gleeson CJ, Gummow, Kirby, Hayne, & Heydon. At least there was no danger of Kirby being similarly conflicted.)

You see, years prior (she’s an old boiler now) Susie had also given birth to two children - fathered by one Michael Crennan -  whilst living in a de-facto relationship with another man, who also believed the two children were his!
Did anyone say ‘adulteress’?
Not unreasonably, Magill and his current squeeze ( Cheryl King ) have raised this issue with our Attorney General, a Rudd factotum who goes by the name of Robert McClelland or some such, but the silence has been deafening.

Ah, the law. Aren’t its practitioners wonderful!
