TAMPA, Fla. -- Authorities have arrested the mother of a Hillsborough County girl who was reported missing over the weekend.

According to a sheriff's office news release, a family friend brought 3-year-old Iveliz Marie Flores back to her home Sunday night after noticing media coverage of the child's reported disappearance.

After interviewing the friend, deputies arrested the child's mother, 32-year-old Lisa Flores. She was charged with child neglect and also faces a probation violation.

Flores was taken to Orient Road Jail, where she was being held without bond. Jail records did not list an attorney.
